Friends of St. Francis,
On behalf of the entire St. Francis community, Father Milton, Deacon Joe, The Vestry, and the staff, I want to offer a deep thank you to everyone who participated (Volunteering, Shopping, Prayers, & Donations) in our recent Book Sale.
As you all know the annual Book Sale has been changed over the past couple of years due to many things, one being COVID. This was a very successful sale where we raised over $13,000 that will go back into the Greensboro community to do good work with many wonderful organizations.
We look forward to our next sale and hope you will consider volunteering as the date gets closer. Many thanks and may the blessing of God Almighty be with you all now and always. Amen.
Due to the current volume of donated books, the book sale committee has opted not to accept additional book donations at this time. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Interested in more information regarding future book donations? Click here.
If you are a dealer and interested in buying bulk volumes of books wholesale, please contact Mark Hamby at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For over six decades St. Francis has hosted a spring used book sale, with the entire proceeds going to support community organizations. Since COVID, we have renovated our Book Garage and will now be holding our sales there. Although it is a smaller space, we intend to have a sale three to four times a year instead of only once. This will allow you several opportunities to shop for the books you are interested in. We will continue to have a quality selection of modern Fiction, Children’s, and Nonfiction books, as well as many cool items for our antiquarian collectors.
Our proceeds go directly back into the Greensboro community through our Outreach Ministry.
