Children's Christian Formation
In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." Our education programs for children are designed to provide them with the foundations of the faith tradition and spiritual life.

Available- Infants to 3 years
Our goal is for parents of babies and toddlers to worship without worry. We also want your child’s first impression of the church to be a happy one. Our childcare workers are professional educators. They have had background checks and are Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certified.
St. Francis offers nursery service throughout the morning each Sunday beginning at 9:15 am (9:45 am during the summer months.) It is located in the classroom beside the Red room, has an attached child-sized restroom, and is adjacent to the toddler playground.
We ask that you sign your child in on the "Sign In" sheet located next to the door so we have your emergency contact information.
During the 10:00 am Service.
This is a time for children to gather together and hear part of God’s story. Children's Chapel(CC) takes place in our CC Classroom, across from our nursery. Children return to the sanctuary before Communion so your family can still share that Holy moment together.
The goal of our Children's Chapel is to teach children the way of Christ, not only in the church but also in the world, which in turn will prepare them for Christian adulthood. We use Illustrated Ministry's Mini Revolutions Curriculum. The curriculum is based on our Common Lectionary Calendar. This lets children hear the same stories and concepts as their family, but in a way that brings the story and meaning to life through games, activities, and crafts. It also prepares their minds for getting to sit in the pews one day, helping them feel familiar with Holy Eucharist elements.
