In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." Our education programs for children are designed to provide them with the foundations of the faith tradition and spiritual life.

Infants to 3 years
Our goal is for parents of babies and toddlers to worship without worry. We also want your child’s first impression of church to be a happy one. Our childcare workers are professional educators. They have had background checks and are Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certified.
St. Francis offers nursery service throughout the morning each Sunday beginning at 9:15am (9:45am during the summer months.) It is located in the classroom beside the Red room, and has an attached child-sized restroom and is adjacent to the toddler playground.
We ask that you sign your child in on the "Sign In" sheet located next to the door so we have your emergency contact information.
Two Classes: Preschool-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th Grade
During 10:30am Service
This is a time for children to gather together and hear part of God’s story. Children process out of service together, following the Gloria. The children will break into age-appropriate groups, PreK-2nd Grade and 3rd-5th Grade, to explore the lesson for the day. We use the "Buzz Curriculum" created by Group Publishing.
The goal of our Sunday School program is to teach children the way of Christ, not only in the church but also in the world, which in turn will prepare them for Christian adulthood. Children begin in church, then are invited to join us during the Children's Procession. Children return to the Sanctuary for the celebration of Holy Eucharist at the Peace. There is no Sunday School on the first Sunday of each month, when all children and families are invited to attend the Contemporary Worship Service.
