The St. Francis Welcoming Committee tries to cover all bases in order to reach out to visitors and news members. We take the following steps to assure that we communicate in a friendly, warm and welcoming way:

Greeters
(extend a personal welcome to all visitors to our worship services and special events)

Letter
(our rector sends a letter of welcome to each new visitor)

Information Package
(an informative package is sent to all visitors requesting more information about St. Francis)

Telephone
(a member of the Welcoming Committee will telephone each new visitor to invite a return visit and to answer any of the visitor’s questions)

Buddy
(is assigned to contact all new visitors and help them to connect and engage to St. Francis)

Class
(a newcomer’s class/inquirer’s class introduces those interested visitors, newcomers to St. Francis and the Episcopal church)

Socials
(held 2- 3 times a year offer the opportunity for newcomers and parishioners to gather for a meal, conversation, fellowship and fun)

Engage
(present to the congregation and monitor events)
