Just as we, the current members of St. Francis Episcopal Church, benefit from the resources left by those who came before us, so do we share the opportunity to bless future generations
of our religious community.
We are building our Endowment Fund at St. Francis Church, and ensuring that resources will be available to fund important ministries in the future.
As members of this wonderful community, please give it some thought, and consider how you might participate and leave your own legacy for what is important to you.
Michael, our Rector, and members of the Legacy Giving Committee, will be honored to answer questions and discuss topics as you desire.

Stewardship
In the midst of living in a world where, for many, "god" is materialism, where human beings are judged by their yearly income and net worth, the Episcopal Church and St. Francis, Greensboro, take a stand for the Gospel. Our standard of giving for God’s work is the tithe.
This stand is in opposition to our world which says, "Accumulate! Hoard! Consume!" We say, “Live Simply! Compassionately give to those in need! Give generously and joyfully to God for the work of the Church!”
We in the St. Francis family attempt to follow our patron saint and appreciate and care for all of the world God has created. Together we share our resources of time, talent and money to further our mission and ministry. All are invited often to join with us in this endeavor.
