St. Francis Day School Mission Statement
St. Francis Day School seeks to provide social and educational opportunities and developmentally appropriate experiences in a Christian environment for children
ages 2-5 years old.
At St. Francis, we treasure the opportunity to help provide a safe place for children, where they can feel loved and cherished in an environment where the teachers are gentle and kind.
We are not a day care program; we’re a pre-school.
We are not a substitute for your home; we’re an extension of the home environment.
We provide safe, age-appropriate playgrounds, toys, books, equipment and classrooms and our trained staff is committed to advocate for your child.
St. Francis Day School is a special place because of the dedicated staff, objective parents, nurturing clergy, conscientious board, supportive parishioners and, most importantly, because of the special children we teach.
We are a peanut free school.

Special Programs
1. Lunch Bunch—The children will have the option of staying for lunch from Noon to 1:00 PM.
2. Children’s Chapel—The children have the option of attending a chapel service one
day each week.
3. On Campus “Field Trips”—The special places in and around Greensboro come to us: storytellers, firefighters, etc. Parent Activities—St. Francis Day School offers our parents a number of functions which enable us to interact and grow together.
Adjusted Schedules
St. Francis provides your child with an “ease-in” schedule during the first few days of school. This allows children to adjust from a summer at home into the routine of a day at school with new faces, places and experiences. The adjusted schedule will be designed and delivered to you before the first of the school year.
