St. Francis Episcopal Church
Adult Forum

The Adult Forums take place on most Sundays between the 8 am and 10:30 am services as part of our Christian Education hour from 9:15-10:15 am. The forums are held in the Parish Hall.

On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Parish Hall Eucharist, an informal service with the Heaven Help Us praise band, at 9:15. Forums are not held on those Sundays.

The forums are part of the Christian Education program at St. Francis and seek to engage members and visitors on a variety of current issues. Theologian Karl Barth once said that the Christian should read the Bible in one hand, and the newspaper in the other. We seek to follow this wisdom in our forum series. Topics often have religious undercurrents and themes that stimulate and strengthen both our intellectual and our spiritual awarenesses.

For more information about the forum series, please contact the Rev. Robert Black at robert@stfrancisgreensboro.org or Director of Christian Education– Susan Elam at susan@stfrancisgreensbo.org.
