We invite you, your pet companions and human friends to celebrate the Blessing of the Animals honoring the Feast of St. Francis on Sunday, Oct. 3rd at 3:30 p.m. in the courtyard.
We are collecting items for the local rescue groups who are participating at the service. Please bring an item to donate to local rescue agencies.
The celebration will include music from our Junior Choir, a dog wash fundraiser, a message from the Rev. Jamie L'Enfant, and the individual blessing of animals. We welcome all gentle pets and domestic animals on leashes or in containers. We will have refreshments for everyone, water for your pet and litter bags available.
Guests from local animal rescue organizations are invited to share information about their groups with participants. Parking is available in the back of the church.

Many pets were blessed on this Feast Day of our Patron Saint. St. Francis reminds us that part of our stewardship of God's creation is the responsibility for all animals, both those that are pets and those that are in the wild.
